WINTER 2023
Every time anger fades a window opens and
a possibility for change, however small, reveals itself
to become someone, someone else
a person of some kind
a whole person, maybe
someone better, maybe
tomorrow, maybe
because, right now
I want to knock your teeth out
call you names
and your mother
and your sister
and your ancestors too
why I don't know, I can think of a few things though
a thousand reasons if I have to
and none that will ever do
